MATTERS NetworkOn Tuesday, I visited MATTERS Network and UBMD EMS Program Agency’s offices in Buffalo with Jordan and Alicia. While there, we had a great discussion on the expansion of MATTER’s harm reduction resources and collaboration with Emergency Medical Services (EMS) across New York State. I want to Thank Dr. Lynch and his staff as this was an excellent opportunity to discuss expanding our partnership. Upcoming Safe Kids Events![]() Our Safe Kids Southern Tier New York program has many upcoming events! Sydney has been working with many community partners to ensure plenty of learning opportunities are available. Below is a list of a few upcoming events, and more information and registration can be found on our website.
YMCA Workplace Wellness![]() We have recently joined Olean YMCA’s Workplace Wellness program. As a result, our employees are eligible to have a portion of their Y membership covered by STHCS and the YMCA. We are excited to partner with our local YMCA to offer our employees this new health and wellness perk! If you want to offer this to your employees, please get in touch with Ryan Crino at [email protected]. EMS Simulation NightThis week, we hosted an EMS Simulation Night for our local providers. This interactive night was held by a partnership between Oishei Children’s Hospital and Catholic Health. The providers used the simulation manikins and ran through several scenarios. We received great feedback on this program, and we look forward to being able to hold other sessions in the future. I would like to thank Ben Kasper of Oishei, Rachel Aldridge, Laura Stratton and and Scott Then of Catholic Health for presenting!
